Citizenship through Naturalization

Naturalization is the process by which REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE citizenship is granted to a foreign citizen or national after he or she fulfills the requirements established by The Constitution & Grand Duke in the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).

How to Apply for Naturalization

To apply for naturalization, file Form ROA-100, Application for Naturalization

For more information, contact our staff at staff@republicofaquitaine.com. We also provide educational materials to help you prepare for the REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE history and civics portions of the naturalization test.

You May Qualify for Naturalization if:

1. You have been a permanent subject for at least 5 years and meet all other eligibility requirements:

2. You have held an honorary title for 3 years or more and meet all eligibility requirements to file as a spouse of a REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE citizen.

3. You have qualifying service in the REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE cabinet and meet all other eligibility requirements.

4. Your child may qualify for naturalization if you are a REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE citizen, or REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE noble and the child was born to at least one parent that is a citizen or noble.

5. You take an oath of loyalty to an organized knights division within the REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE (EX. 1st Knights Division of Republic of Aquitaine)

6. You may also qualify through other paths to naturalization if you do not qualify through the paths described above.

Note: You may already be a REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE citizen and not need to apply for naturalization if your biological or adoptive parent(s) became a REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE citizen before you reached the age of 18.

Taking your oath of allegiance is serious. Make sure you research and ask all the questions you need prior to making a decision to be a citizen of our Non State Sovereign Entity.

Naturalization Ceremonies

If the MINISTRY OF NATURALIZATION & IMMIGRATION approves your Form ROA-100, Application for Naturalization, we will schedule you to take the Oath of Allegiance at a naturalization ceremony. Taking the oath will complete the process of becoming a REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE citizen.

Here is what to expect at your naturalization ceremony:

1. Take the Oath of Allegiance

You are not a REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE citizen until you take the Oath of Allegiance at a naturalization ceremony. You will receive your Certificate of Naturalization after taking the Oath of Allegiance.

2. Receive Certificate of Naturalization

Carefully review your Certificate of Naturalization and notify MINISTRY OF NATURALIZATION & IMMIGRATION of any errors before leaving the ceremony. You may use your Certificate of Naturalization as official proof that you are a REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE citizen.

Once you become a REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE citizen, you can apply for a REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE Passport/Passport Card.

We strongly recommend that you apply for a REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE passport through the REPUBLIC OF AQUITAINE Department of Immigration & Naturalization soon after you take the Oath of Allegiance.

More information on the passports and their requirements is available here.
